TAI CHI YIN – YANG

The symbol of TAI CHI represents a way of seeing, and then experiencing, our daily life. In this form there are two basic forces that permeate our day to day, the Yin force and the Yang force. The Yang force is creative, it creates, generates and idealizes. The Yin force is receptive, it takes care of what was created, generated and idealized. These forces are complementary and not opposites*¹.

From the TAI CHI symbol we can still perceive that the energies start in a discrete way and grow until the apex. At the moment of the apex the complementary force appears, as if it sprang from nothing, forming a paradox ( Paradox of the Opposite).

Note: At an inattentive look one might confuse the complementary force as if it were opposite.
